Summerwood is a premier waterfront community located in the southeast quadrant of beautiful Lake Gaston, North Carolina. Summerwood is seven minutes from the town of Littleton, and less than 30 minutes from Roanoke Rapids to the east and Warrenton to the west. With over 2.5 miles of walkable treelined streets and extensive wooded areas combined with expansive lake views and waterfront vistas, Summerwood is a tranquil, family oriented community.

Summerwood consists of 57 lots, 43 with beautiful waterfront homes, 40% of which are owed by full-time residents while the remainder are vacation homes. Summerwood also has 14 lots that are not yet developed, 11 of which are off-water.

Summerwood is a planned community under the North Carolina Planned Community Act and is managed by the Summerwood Property Owners Association (SPOA).
